Sun King Brewery + Fishers Test Kitchen Dinner Series - April 18th, 2024
This is a seated, 4-course plated dinner, will focus selected beers to accompany Cajun dishes curated by Chef Cierra Dent. As the paired courses are served, attendees will gain an understanding of how to taste and exhibit beer, allowing for better integration and presentation of beer with food. Participants will also learn the "why and hows" behind combinations of different beers with different foods and ingredients as building blocks for creating their own pairings at home.
Sun King's Brew Master Dave Colt and Chef Dent will guide guests through five beers with paired traditional New Orleans courses, demonstrating how to identify important subtleties during the delicious interactions that occur when great beer is paired with great food!

Warm Up: Mother-in-laws Pimiento Cheese served with Saltines and Fresh Veggies paired with Lap Lane LagerFirst Course: Chicken Gumbo with white rice + Old Major Andouille (Local) + Scallion + Toasted Baguette Bread paired with Old Fashioned Extraction
• Second Course: Crispy Fried Bayou Catfish with Ravigote Sauce + Maque Choux paired with Plaid Peacock
• Third Course: Seafood Jambalaya made with Shrimp + Sausage + Trinity Rice on a Garlic Bread Crostini paired with Banana Daiquiri
• Last Course: Classic Beignets with Caramel Barryl Strawberry Sauce paired with Barryl Strawberry
Tickets are $80 each (gratuity included) and available only for 21 and older. Space is limited to 60 attendees. Additional pints, cocktails and wine are available for purchase.
