Sun King + FTK Beer Dinner Series: Nostalgic Adult School Lunch - October 17th, 2024
Come join Sun King + Fishers Test Kitchen for a trip down memory lane with our Nostalgic Adult School Lunch event! Indulge in a delicious meal paired with the finest brews from Sun King and FTK. This in-person event will be held at Sun King Fishers Small-Batch Brewery. Don't miss out on this unique dining experience that will surely bring back fond memories of your school days!
This is a seated, 3-course "School Tray" plated dinner, will focus selected beers to accompany some of your favorite school dishes curated by Chef Levi Kinney. As the paired courses are served, attendees will gain an understanding of how to taste and exhibit beer, allowing for better integration and presentation of beer with food. Participants will also learn the "why and hows" behind combinations of different beers with different foods and ingredients as building blocks for creating their own pairings at home.
Sun King's Brew Master Dave Colt and Chef Kinney will guide guests through six beers with paired with each course.

Opening Beer: Indianapolis Brewing Co. Lager (16oz Pint) - What better way to start the dinner than with an iconic beer!
• 1st Tray Courses: Adult Lunchable (Charcuterie), Fruit Cup, Chips & Dip, Pizza Pockets, and Sloppy Joe Crostini/Tartines paired with Canadian Tornado Barrel-Aged Lager (8oz) and GJF Hazy IPA (8oz)
• 2nd Tray Courses: Pork Chop & Apple Sauce, Spicy Fried Chicken Bao Bun, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Green Beans, and Creamy Corn Casserole paired with Cherry Bitter Smackdown Sour Ale (8oz) and Caribbean Cola Rum Barrel-Aged Cocktail Inspired Ale (8oz)
• Dessert Course: Cosmic Scotcharoo paired with Barrel-Aged Chocolate Vanilla Stout
Tickets are $80 each (gratuity included) and available only for 21 and older. Space is limited to 70 attendees. Additional pints, cocktails and wine are available for purchase.
